Ok, sorry for my Eagle bretheren for the skepticism, but damn that was just an ugly win. Wasn't looking good for a GOOD stretch of the game. Switching to the CP game.

My feed isn't working for the CP game....

Mine either.

Copy the URL, close the browser entirely. Reopen the browser, and paste the URL.

That worked for me.

It's still half time, so you have some time to figure it out.

I do not have any more to base this on other than watching the game but it seems to me like if it is first down we are going to run between the tackles, then pass 2nd and 3rd down. I'm sure the stats would bear this out or rule me wrong if I took time to look.
Did anyone else notice this?

We have a hard time running the ball when Padron is at QB...but we are so good when he chucks it around...

I did. I also noticed that they were stacking the box all game long and we should have put Kyle in and gone 4-wide much earlier than we did. Seems like PSU was dead-set on taling away the run but their pass coverage sure was bad.

I've always said I thought Eastern had huge talent and had a real problem with not playing to their potential... I thought we were a team that just sluffed around and tried winning close games at the end.

I'm now starting to worry that I was wrong. I'm now thinking maybe we are just a team that does a couple of things really well, but don't have the talent to cover some fatal flaws. If this is the case, I think we will play someone good enough to exploit those flaws within the first couple of playoff games.

We simply can't get enough line play to run block. That just kills us. We make this problem worse by being so dman predictable in down-and-distance and by formation. Also, our defense doesn't tackle well at all. If we had one bad game in this area, you might just chalk it up to coincidence, but this is happening almost every game. I know we've shown flashes and even game of brilliance, but for whatever reason, we have games where we just can't keep up. We'll see where the truth lies once the big names start coming to town.

Just reading this thread for the first time today. Some of you guys should be embarrassed. Until you play a minute in those boys' shoes you should really refrain from sharing your "expertise". Rain, wind, cold, you name it. Things go wrong. So many only focus on that yet, somehow, through nothing EWU did right, we have a 2 seed. We should just bow out now, right? Odds are, we'll get beat at some point in the post season; 20 teams but only one champion, right?

Pull your big girl panties out of your collective arses, have a beer, and enjoy the ride! Maybe, through nothing we do right again, we come out on top...
