PSU in Tourney

Good luck to the Vikings. Hopefully they won't be stuck with a 16 seed. They have a good team so hopefully they can pull an upset or two.

I've heard some wild matchups....Texas....Georgetown(God forbid) We are going to get torched regardless, but hey we achieved our goal, we won the BSC and got to the big dance.

PSUV, I think your team can create some headaches with the athleticism. Plus, if Morrison is only called for 1 foul like he was here...

Actually, given the fact guys got healthy at the right time, there's some athleticism and depth, and Dominguez knows how to take over a game when needed, I like PSU's chances with the right matchup. Stanford, for example, would be a good one; UCLA would be a bad one.

A 16 seed seems really low but I don't follow it enough to know for sure. The RPI must totally drive this and I know the small conference schools get hurt on strength of schedule which I have a problem with. You get rewarded for losing to good teams, I think wins should count more... OK, rant over but doesn't the Big Sky usually do a bit better than a 16 seed? I'd think we'd at least get a 13 or 14 if we put in our best team in which we did.

I think yesterday was the most frustrated as I've been in the bracket announcements...PSU as a 16 doesn't jibe with me, but I figured they would get shafted given Boise took a 15. K-State's an 11? Drake's the only rep from the Valley? Butler takes a 7 seed, despite a top-10 national ranking? Pretty crappy job in setting up the tourney, if you ask me.

I think you will see a lot of upsets in the middle seeds, because of the wiered seeding. It also sucks that teams like PSU are now a one and done....

I will don PSU green if they beat KU though. :D
