Tip-off in a few minutes. Things to look for:

PSU: D. Waters is the leading scorer with 18.4 ppg and 45% from 3 point land with 91% from the stripe.
J. Jones is averaging 13.5 ppg and 7.4 rebounds per game.
M. Jones is averaging 13.3 ppg and 47% from the 3 point land and 75% from the stripe.
 
11-4 Sac State with 14:42 left in the 1st. Sac is getting a lot of back door cuts and easy layups. Let's see if they can keep up the intensity.
 
Poor shot selection is killing the Hornets now. They are also getting killed on the boards by PSU.
 
20-15 Sac with 7:37 left in the 1st. Hornets are playing a little sloppy right now, poor ball handling and bad positioning on rebounds. I hope they can clean it up.
 
And on the other end Eller picks up his 3rd. That's huge. I would expect PSU to go with J. Jones (their big man) in the post in the paint.
 
With 5:42 left in the first, Sac is headed to the line for their first FT's. Dickson makes them both.
 
Timeout Hornets 24-22 Sac with 3:42 left. The lead just evaporated mainly due to poor rebounding and 2nd chance points by PSU.
 
31-28 Hornets at the half. PSU fails to get a shot off at the first half buzzer. The Hornet D has been adequate thus far, they are just giving up too many 2nd chance points. This will be another close on in the Nest. The Hornet shooting has also cooled off as well. They will need to pick it up.
 
Looks like the Hornets didn't show up for the 2nd half. 31 all with the Hornets committing 2 early fouls in the first minute and a half. Also a terrible pass that ended up in a turnover.
