Horrific loss. Larry Weir said it best in that the Sac State win was wasted.
And I'll bring it up again, I'm troubled by the quantity of injuries suffered by Eastern in all sports. Day-to-day injuries seem to last forever. Venky Jois would have been a big-time difference maker in this game, and the lack of presence inside made tons of problems for Eastern.
I think Eastern can be hosts by winning out (not positive though), but our happy RPI rating will be lost forever after what will be reviewed by neutrals as a shocking loss.

Our best chance to get to the Big Dance since the 04 team --- and we pissed down our leg. Brutal.
If we end up NOT going to the dance, with a team that beat Indiana and dominated most of the conference, then Hayford needs to be on the hotseat in year 5.

Really? Have you not payed attention to where this team has come from? Calm down its just a loss. All we can expect from a Big Sky team is to compete for the Conference Championship. Ok, well at least that is all I will expect from our teams.steviekick said:

What the hell is wrong with some of the people posting on this board. Let's all freak out like little children. We lost a game. Big deal. A lot of basketball left and we are at the top of the conference. Settle down. Why do fans have to act so emotional about a loss.
This is a good team that didn't play well today. Big deal. We got one of the best offensive players in the nation back after missing several games. That is great. We need to get Venky Jois healthy for the conference tourney.
