i love their neutral and away schedule.

its now dec 11 and psu has played 0 home D1 games ...they dont even have home D1 game actually and look at that record. for some reason all home games are being played at Lewis & Clark. does this mean they are really getting that new venue built? i was at psu for our football game. i guess i didn't notice any construction.

they have played some neutral games at the "energy solutions" and "salt palace" equivalents but 0 on campus.

they are 8-2 at this point. 7 of 11 games weren't at home and even the 3 home games aren't at home. psu is 4-0 in true away games. this is a really tough schedule. even in big sky play they don't get a home game in the first 2 weeks.

2 losses:
a. #1 ranked duke (11-1) of whom they lead at halftime.
b. 2 pt loss to Butler (8-2).

from dec 3 to jan 10 they play 1 home game.
during the same stretch wsu plays 6 consecutive games at the dee

Sounds like PSU has found themselves a coach. I hope he can keep it together there and stay long enough to get a few things accomplished. He is off to a good start. :coffee:

Yeah, one who is not afraid to go out and play the biggest and toughest teams in all if college basketball. But hey, who does not want Presentation College on their schedule? :wall: :wall:

PSU is doing what Rahe doesnt have the guts to do, and thats to play good teams on the road. Every year, we hear Rahe talk about how he has put together the toughest schedule, and it is going to be a real challenge, etc. :blah: :blah: :blah:

He cant honestly think that the West Coast baptists of the world are better than playing legitimate teams on the road if needed? PSU by the time "league" starts, will have played Portland, UC Riverside, Utah State, Duke, Butler, Stanford, Loyola Marymount, Santa Clara, Oregon, and Cal. They do have a couple NAIA on the schedule, but that is a legit schedule. One that will do much more for a team than our trashy schedule. Arkansas PineBluff, coming in to town on a hot winless season... The schedule really sucks, and the model PSU is doing, is what we need to be doing.

good news. looks like it could be a great home court advantage full of fans. compact and low roof will make it very loud. reminds me of st mary's with 3k but sounded like 10k.
