PSU VS Lewis & Clark

I think it's probably a situation where the coaches felt he really did have an injury, as insignificant as it was. Scotty probably said he was 100%, but all players want to play, so who knows how bad it actually was. As to Moore, I think any home game is a good opportunity, because he's clearly about the worst option in their main rotation. He gets PT in Portland because it's his hometown, and there's been lesser competition so far. I think once Tiefenthaler gets in the mix, Moore's minutes will begin to resemble those of Curtis.

There is no story here, Bone was honest about saying there was no specific injury to Scott and the DNP was to give him 2 days to rest (Thursday's an off day) prior to heavy minutes at WSU.

"He's done a great job this far, but we want to make sure that back stays healthy," Bone said.

Afterward Scott said he was as surprised as anyone when the coaches told him prior to the game he wouldn't play.

Again, Bone really needs to learn to form a better relationship with his players, particularly his seniors and team leaders. Communication with (and listening to) players leads to a strong team with good chemistry, and Bone just doesn't have that, and doesn't get it.
