Great run since it was tied at 11.

This is Texas Southern's first home game in 13 games. :-|

I will never complain about our long road trips again.

That was way too close, we have to find a way to stop playing down to the level of our competition, but I guess a win's a win. Julius came up big down the stretch and I feel like this is the kind of team he can be really effective against (although he played great against Gonzaga). This doesn't bode too well for the Baylor game, but I still feel we have a chance. That will be a fun one to watch no matter what happens, and what's the deal for TV on that game? Does anyone know if it'll be playing at any bars in Portland? Cheerful Tortoise maybe?

Here's my take.

In this case a win is great. Possibility of a letdown after the Gonzaga game, and the possibility of overlooking a team prior to the Baylor game.

We needed a win, and we got a win.

I was at the game. First the game was free and before the game I met Tom Hewitt. He said he would mention me as the one PSU supporter there. I sat right behind the PSU bench. Also behind the bench was a TSU student who was extremely vocal obnoxious. Security taked to him at halftime asking him to tone it down. He went so far as to continously yell stuff like "Portland Sucks....14 (Coston) YOU STINK!!!... You in the jungle now, you in my house. When PSU called a timeout in the second half he jumped to the floor making a T sign saying...Yeah you need it because your team sucks! He was eventually escorted out in the second half.

My wife was impressed by JD and how good he is even though he is so small. Even the TSU fans noticed because whenever he got the ball they sreamed to keep it out of that "Little White Boys" hands and "Don't let him touch the ball." Granted it waqs a sloppy game, but a win is a win. I am hoping the wife will let me go to the Baylor game since we only paid for gas on this one. But I'm not really counting on it now.

Kudos for making the trip. Always nice to see PSU grads staying connected even after leaving the state.

Thanks for the support CaseyOrourke. I listen to the game on the radio, and it wasn't one of the Viks best performances, but a road win is always nice to get. Thanks again for supporting the Vikings so far away.

Just out of curiousity...what did Tom say about me?
