PSU vs WSU Game Thread

5 things stick out to me about this game:

1) These trio of referees were the worst yet.

2) The Viks are lucky to have the depth they have, as the needed everyone tonight.

3) Weber State is a good team.

4) We could have really used Hammond tonight.

5) The Viks are "a team" and that is why they are winning.

Don't care how they won it, just that they did. Already lamenting the fact that I have a class I have to give a presentation at on what would be the night of the Championship game.

You mean your prof won't postpone the class so y'all can go watch the finals ??

It's a once a week class at the grad school level taught by an adjunct with a real 9-5 job. I doubt it. Might be able to pipe in ESPN2 during the breaks though.

Wow. What a game. Packed house at the Stott tonight.

Let's get this out of the way. That was the worst ref crew of the year. Sad. Takes the game out of the game.

There was a ton of energy in the place tonight. If Viking Nation brought this every night, it would be one of the toughest places to play in.

We didn't shoot well tonight, but made it up with hustle and energy. We were down two guys, but are more of a complete team, and thus we won the game.

One more win and we host.

Marty: If we were to only win one more game (say EWU or NC), and Weber were to win out......wouldn't we be tied, with a split in games between us. How can you say now for sure that we'd host with 1 more victory ?? Same goes for Montana State...they could still theoretically finish 11-5 too.

If we end up tied with MSU or WSU, it will then go to performance based on how each team performed against the top of the BSC. NAU should be the deciding factor in that instance and both MSU and WSU will have a split at best. We swept NAU so the regular season BSC would go to us.

PSU is far enough ahead not to worry if you ask me. I don't think any of the rest of the teams will win out.

I think I better ask for March 11th and 12th off work !! Road Trip !! It's definitely a more pleasant trip than flying to Salt Lake and going to Ogden, which I did last year. Awful place. Everyone in the Dee Center was related to each other !! Scary !! (JK)

I'm still ticked that Senior's night is going to be on a Tuesday night. I have to find a way to make it down for that, too. Whoever did the BSC scheduling for PSU should be shot. Starting with opening on Dec. 22nd ??, and having the last home game on a Tuesday ?? What's with that?

Forgot to mention this earlier, but Ime Udoka is one class act. Attended both games this week, sets scholarships at PSU in memory of his father. We Vikings fans are lucky to have someone like him on our side. Go Viks!
