Hey Vic;
In your opinion will Jordan Pulu be able to fill the void created by the absence of his brother and Wil Katoe?

clawman,
I didn't see him play very often because of his constant injuries. I saw him in one game, and if he is anything like Andru, he will do great. I hope so. We have some great DL Players coming in, and I think some of them will be starting. Of course I have to see them in action on the field. Vic

So far I only know of Pulu, Zylstra and Sommer as leaders of the d-line this year. A lot of young players at this position come 2014. What other players should we be expecting to make an impact on d-line this year? Will Weston be returning to the defense?

The guys above on interior DLine. True freshman Samson Ebukam and Joe Douglas both played quite a bit this year mostly at defensive end. Evan Day started at defensive end and will be a senior.

For some reason, I thought Evan Day was a senior this year. Good to know he will be back. I like the way he plays football.

Rjones61,
Along with the DL Players you mentioned, they will have to be dealt with, they are going to be Outstanding. Evan Day came here the same day Jase Boutorac OL came in, I remember meeting both of them in the stands at one of our scrimmages, and two outstanding young men. Now add these to your list, first Derek Westin (Transferr from UW) he have been working very hard in getting back. Ashton Boothroyd (Mead), Zachary Johnson, (Transfer from WSU), Andre Lino, Bishop Blanchette, HS 13, Derek Westin. Keep your eyes on Samson Ebukam, Joe Douglas, Andre Lino, Evan Day, Dylan Zylstra, Matthew Sommer, they will make some offense pay the piper. We know what they are capable of doing on the field. Now like Coach Graham have said numerous times, now we will start to "RE-LOAD". With the caliber of young recruits, coming we will "ROCK THE WORLD" Took that from Muhammad Ali          . Found out from Shaq Hill and Quincey Forte, last night at the game WBB Game, DJ Martin is back, here is hoping he gets his grades where they are acceptable. Every time I meet those young men, I always ask how their grades are, and let them know their education is # one. Vic Wallace

Vic, what's the deal with Benjamin Gossmeyer? Is he still with the program? I've been hoping to see that kid on the field since signing day 2012... Beau had very high praise for him... seemed like he could've been a real good one.

“He’s impressive, he’s absolutely impressive on video. His pass rush skills are at a level we maybe haven’t seen coming out of high school. We do a lot of things in our defensive package where Ben will have an impact right away with as many defensive linemen as we play. With his skill set, it can be special to see what he can do in this conference as a defensive end. You see his frame and you can see he’s going to put on 20-30 pounds like it’s nothing and still carry the speed and quickness that he has. We hope he becomes an absolute monster at defensive end for us.”

He played?

SE174,
Looking at the thread of Gossmeyer, and Bo Merin, and Joe Hunt, I really had high hopes for Bo (QB) and Joe on the DL, but both of them decided to leave, forgot where they went. I've seen the list for NLI on Feb 5th, seems as if it had 50 names on it already.. Hope I see you there. Ken Halpin is the one to make contact with. Vic Wallace

To All,
Just set my DVR for 3 pm today for College All Star Game. Don't forget TJ Lee 111 was picked to play in the game coming from California. I will be at the Women Basketball Game, which starts at 2pm. Game is on ESPN2. Vic Wallace

air045,
Found out there were approximately 4 Recruits were on their visit. None of them came to the WBB Game, and was unable to provide any names. Sorry. Found out 16 Recruits have come for their visits, so far and all have committed. Great Job, will wait for Feb 5th, 14. Vic Wallace

To All,
Saw DJ Martin at the WBB Game on Saturday, along with Qincey Forte, Derrick Bourne, Frank Cagne, Delando Tucker, Vernon Adams, Women Volley Ball Team, and other sporting teams. DJ supposedly 3.3 GPA. Keep it up. One thing I can honestly say the sporting areas, back each other when there are any events at Reece Court. Good Morning. Vic Wallace

Also heard Saturday, NCAA has passed a law, "anyone that must sit out a year because grades, once they have gotten their grades, they have the permission to "TRANSFER" if they so desire. Has anyone else heard that?

I don't think any other University does what EWU is doing reference student grades that wants to play sports, I could be wrong. Vic
