Purple & White Game - Oct 29 7PM

I can't believe bball season is starting tonight...

Normally we are waiting restlessly for bball to start. With football being so awesome I wish we could put bball on hold til December...sorry team!

Tonight at 7 though.
 
I don't care!!! It's WEBER STATE basketball! How could you not be excited?? Just walking into the Dee gives me goose bumps. Having a good football team is the icing on top of the cake.
 
I just wish it was a real game. Half the fun for me is heckling the opposing team, and I won't be able to do that tonight. Even the refs won't be worth harassing, because the outcome of the game will never be in question. It will be nice watching some of the redshirts play for the only time this season.
 
I had missed the purple white game when Jermaine Boyette made his WSU debut, I asked my Dad how it went and he just grinned when I asked how we were going to replace Eddie Gill.

So that said, I am excited to see Damion Lilliard and the other freshmen make their debut tonight.

Anybody care to place a little wager on this matchup? I may or may not be able to handle all of your sports wagering needs. Right now Purple is a 8 point favorite, and if you lose tonight you can always double down your bet on Monday night against UofGuelph. :lol:
 
No way! White is going to take it by 15. But then whoever starts as white will probably be wearing purple and vice versa by the end of the game.
 
I'd have to say that was the best Purple & White game I've been to. Also, my years only go back to 2002.

Lillard went 3-4 from the arc, McCoy had at least 6 3's. Hansen 3 3's. What about the warmups with all the dunks?? That was pretty cool.

The highlight of the night was when Kellen McCoy dunked during warmups...still can't believe that!! He's 5'6"!!

I agree, McCoy's dunk was one of the best I've ever seen live. If he ever manages to do that in a game, he'll be imortalized on SportsCenter and gain a cult following. Dat playa gotz some mad hopz, yo.
 
That was perhaps one of the best Purple and White games I've ever seen. Mahoney, Lillard, Hansen, McCoy, Morris, Panos, hell everyone played great last night. I'm really excited to see this team in action on Monday against a real team. 8:00 at the Dee.... If you can get to the Dee by 6 to support CT and the womens team.
