Finally, a full arena. It was electric, fun, and something every home game should be, loud. Every single player on the Vikings played solid basketball. Nobody was really great, but everyone through Coston contributed.
I look for more from Dub, but the fouls held him back. Another performance like that and we'll be on national tv on thursday.

Great night with high energy. There is no reason why the Stott can't be like this every night. Add the pep band and a little advertising and the place will be packed every night with this squad that we are putting out there.

I'd complained about this team not having the 'killer instinct' to put teams away this year. They proved me wrong tonight. PSU dropped the 1-2 punch in the second half to hit the tourney in Ogden running.
Couple game notes. Morrison was huge in the second half. That block (foul called) by Morrison on Morris' dunk attempt in the second half was huge. It sent a message that the low block now belonged to PSU. That changed the game and the Viks rolled. Good to see Sommer take an open jump shot with confidence. I'll take 75% FG shooting by our point guard any day of the week. Even if it is just four shots. I think that's more than he's taken in the last three games. Victor E Viking is no longer MIA. The three month bender must be over.
We're due to beat Weber and return the favor of two years ago in their own backyard.
