Question about Southern Oregon

Is Southern Oregon D-II or D-III?

On the PSU website, it talks about Southern Oregon being the home opener and being against a D-III school. Surely we would not be playing a D-III school.

They are NAIA.

I think it is an effort to increase the exposure of Oregon's other football programs who might otherwise never be seen in Portland without the total humiliation of playing an Oregon or Oregon State. We had Western Oregon last season, Southern Oregon this season and I'll wager Eastern Oregon in a future season.

Are there any other programs who might also be viable candidates?
