Just killing time before the season begins, but here's the what-if question:

If we had an All-Star Team comprised of the very best basketball players to ever play at NC, who are our starting 5 and how far do we go?

My fave players of all time are Barden (beating KSU on their home court with 20 rebounds!), followed by Beitzel (leading the team to the promised land!).....
 
And of course Mike Higgins, the only NC player to play in the NBA....

Higgins was named all-conference all four years he played for the Bears.

He is still UNC’s career scoring leader with 2,112 points and leading rebounder with 959. He holds 21 school records overall.
