R.I.P. Matt Schuman

Just saw on the Tribunes website that Matt Schuman, UNC's beat writer, passed away at the young age of 49. He seemed like a really good guy from the brief moments when I talked to him. He will be missed.

I question NCMC's role in this. God speed to Matt and I pray for his family and friends.

A little sad and disrespectful that there's only two posts here. Matt was a big part of UNC athletics and did his job with integrity and passion. Shame...shame...shame...

Unfortunately, since the Trib thinks their articles are pure gold, most of us haven’t read anything written by Matt in a couple of years.

Matt was everywhere there was a sporting event. A super person that will be truly missed !
