• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Boy, first it was Buck Rollins, Don Meyer, and now Vic Nottingham passed away over the weekend. I will always appreciate what all three have done for UNC athletics. The Bear family runs deep with great men and women.

Not having lived in Greeley for quite some time (and living away from Colorado for the last 12 years) I don't have a pulse on UNC sports as much as I would like. I could only really name 2 big time donors of the team (Nottingham and Monfort). Are there more big donors that help keep UNC athletics going?

Not really sure on which other donors are the biggest supporters, but here is link to the biggest annual individual donor page-

Too bad they don't make a rule that you had to be on this list to in order to bitch about the program. Kind of like put your money where you mouth is. That would cut down on some of the negative posts we get, especially the ones that complain about the lack of this or we don't have that or whatever they like to complain about and not bother to give even a few dollars or so to the program.

Check and see if you are on the list.

I am on one of those lists, so I can bitch!!!

Staying on topic here, if anyone is going to Mr. Nottingham's funeral and reception, please inform the rest of us about what was said and who was there. I would be a lot of great Bears will be in attendance.

All Old Bears knew Buck Rollins personally, not that many actually knew Vic Nottingham personally, this is a sample of some big time Old Bears at the Buck Rollins Memorial. There is a current scholarship drive at the Alumni Office in Coach Rollins name.

RIP Vic Nottingham, thanks for all you have done for UNC.
