Rahe rolling with 12 scholarship players this year

Yeah, our guy, Izayah Mauriohooho-Le-afa, who played the entire season last year with plantar fasciitis, played for his national team (New Zealand) but I didn't know if he played in any FIBA sponsored tournaments....I haven't seen Espe yet, but reports are that he can play...

I'm assuming that is a copy and paste -- or should I put you at the level of fan that is one vowel short of being a mentally bnkers?

Do you mind if we just refer to him as Izzy? It will make life easier for us morons, who couldn't pronounce that with five years of practice.

It wasn't a copy and paste but I did have to look at the roster to make sure of the spelling and I probably will always have to do that....the pronunciation isn't as bad as it appears it would be....it is pronounced Moe Dee Hoe Hoe Lee a fa.....I have no idea where the "auri" goes or the "Dee" comes from, it's something in the Maori language....The first name is a phonetic spelling for Isaiah which I would think you guys could handle easily....

Yea, that's not too bad. It's probably best that you don't look too hard at the last name while trying to pronounce it. Anyway, I think the kid is going to be pretty good. The big question mark for Sac is going to be rebounding and interior D. Same can be said for several teams in the BSC this year, including us. We think the pieces are there, but you never really know until sneakers hit the hardwood.

Southern Utah is also rolling with 12. Interesting thing about them is that they are in the exact same grant situation as us, one projected opening left for the 2018 class, but have 28 offers out to fill that one spot. They must be expecting a much bigger turnover next spring. Looks to me like nobody's job is safe there. NAU seems to operate in much the same way. It's the shotgun approach. Not the most efficient, but sometimes brings results.
