For Rahe to be interviewing right before the BSC tournament, says a lot about his own character. Do you really still believe that he is 100% invested in the players, team, and school? I think not. Time for Randy to move on..

Sure, if all you want is a stagnant program, mediocracy, 7- man rotations, same coach talk, 10 more losses to BYU, only one or two Dance appearances, same predictable offense, CIT appearances, losing big games, and a 5'5" coach, sure, lets prolong what this school really can do. For the record, I'm not insulted by anything said on this forum.

I hope we can keep Randy around until he wants to retire to some tropical island. As far as integrity goes, he is full of that. I don't feel that anyone on this forum, including me, has more integrity than Randy.

He is our guy until he isn't, and I hope we keep him for a very long time.

If a team is looking to "upgrade," I would imagine they'd make the move as soon as their team is done for the season. March 15th is the first real day of the NCAA tournament, so perhaps it's a team which believes that it has a chance to make the dance..?

Both UTEP and CSU are using agencies to aide in the search. Is coach Rahe actively throwing his name out there? It seems strange for a coach with 5 years left and appears to be very comfortable and set in his current situation.

Personally, I'm only worried about CSU. He will be interviewed as a courtesy. Ft. Collins is a nice place to live. El Paso??? If he were to take the UTEP gig, that would mean he is going to make serious cash and get a lengthy contract. I don't see him giving up 400K, with bonuses, and 6 years remaining for 500K and 3 years. It is a matter of economics folks. Of course, if he is here for 6 years, he will hear me yelling at him quite a bit. What frustrates about Rahe is that he knows what he isn't good at, but won't change or challenge himself to improve.

"For the record "... LOL! I was thinking the same thing. If I am Rahe and had the situation I have in Ogden, I wouldn't leave for less than a 7 figure per year offer. Can he garner that kind of salary? El Paso? I have only been there once, but I don't know if I like living across the river from one of the most dangerous cities in the world (Ciudad Juarez) Only the off season knows. Bwaaa haaa haaaaa.
