That’s for sure. My dad is a Yankees fan, and the year their pitcher got injured running the bases, Steinbrenner tried to make a push to make the NL adopt the DH. I had to explain to my dad that true baseball is everyone hits and fields, and that a bench and strategy comes into play, too in the NL. It’s always entertaining to see the AL pitchers try and hit...a lot of them won’t swing the bat at all.
