Congratulations to Sac State alumni Ricky Ray and Jason Barnes, who teamed up with the Toronto Argonauts to defeat fellow Hornet Brandon Smith and the Calgary Stampeders in the 100th Grey Cup 35-22 in Toronto this past Sunday. Ray was 18-30 for 231 yards and two TDs while Barnes caught three passes for a team-high 82 yards, including one 62-yard catch. Smith had four tackles for the Stampeders. On the year, Ray threw for 4,059 yards and 20 TDs, leading to CFL career totals of 44,588 yards and 230 TDs in just ten seasons. This makes the Hornet one of the best QBs ever to play in Canada! WTG, Ricky!
