Note to recruiting 2010, we need a big, strong FB who can take repetitive hits through the line. It seems that shoulder injuries are rampant this year.

This is a one-back offense GCM and Kadeezy is right, Coach will only use a FB in short-yard or goal-line situations. I think its more of a conditioning issue with some of the backs as to why they have gotten banged up...of course they hit hard during practice too.

I like FB's, like Ed Bueno and the cannonball. Since we don't fully utilize the two TE's (as receivers), drop one and add a FB with good hands.

My preference is to run I (including broken I), using the FB as blocker, ball-carrier, and screen/flare receiver and TE as blocker and receiver (A LOT). Being a (very) short QB, I dearly love that the TE is a large target generally close to the line. Give me the old pop pass any day of the week.
