I just came back to see how you Bear fans were coping with yet another long losing season... still think getting rid of Downing was the best move? I predict the next head coaching search will start at the end of a miserable 2013 season after the Bears go 2-9... when will all of you understand that the problem at UNC is not the coaches? It is the AD and money? Until the amazing incompetent Hinrichs and his equally inept assistant Sherri Frye are gone and the administration wakes up and funds the program at a D1 level, UNC will continue to live in the cellar with ISU and North Charleston as the worst football programs in the country. If not, move the program back to DII and be competitive; otherwise you are lying to the student-athletes that they will ever be anything but a pushover. The program is an embarassment to Greeley, the alumni, and the student body. Montana 45 UNC 17.

I think everyone here, to a man, already agrees that the major problem is money and the AD. If you read the threads on here (which there really are not that many) most of us agree with what you said so I doubt your intent on getting a rise out of us will work.
