Recruit May Miss Season

I wonder what the extent of the injury is? Ankle injuries are awful especially if there is ligament damage.

Hey guys,
I am one of Jason's coaches so I figured I would give you an update. Conrad is out for our season but should be ready to go in March to resume full practice. It is unfortunate for our team but it will not hurt his availability at all for PSU next year. there was ligament damage and severe sprain but the doctors have treated the injury with extreme caution and we are not going to let him rush back so that he does not hurt it any worse.
Before he went down he was averaging 18 points 17rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 assist and a steal a game. The last full game he played was against Oakland Tech and he had 28 points 23 rebounds, 11 blocks 2 assists and a steal.
Jason plans on practicing all out with us and his AAU coach as soon as he is cleared in March. Jason is the hardest worker I have come across in my coaching years and I see a speedy recovery for him.
Jason has already told me that he plans on moving up to Portland as soon as school gets out to be able to workout with players from the team and to get used to college level classes. I think this will greatly help him be ready for next year.
I am obviously biased but I think PSU got a real good one in Jason Conrad. (and you gained a die hard fan in me)

Jason seems to have a great attitude and work ethic, those attributes will serve him well in all aspects of life. Excited to see him play for the Viks next year.

The most interesting aspect of this blog post was the predicted rotation for next season:

PG: Jeremiah Dominguez
SG: Andre Murray
SF: Phil Nelson
PF: Alex Tiefenthaler/Kyle Coston
C: Julius Thomas/Jamie Jones

I could certainly see Waters and Hammond being the starting backcourt over JD and Murray. Either way, that will be a VERY nice rotation in the Big Sky. Lots of depth.
