The format of the scrimmage is great. You can feel the enthusiasm on both sides of the ball even if the starters played limited time.
The athleticism of our guys was obvious and the strength of many is very noticeable.
If the staff is still striving for more balance is the play calling, they are failing. Just guessing, 3 pass plays to 1 running play.
If closing the gap in the turnover margin is another objective, they are failing. There was one interception and one fumble caused by poor handoff from Freshman QB to RB. One muffed reception of a punt that resulted in a turnover.
There is a lot of coaching to do before the first game.

Well I found that exhilarating as all get out. With the returners and some players back from injury not to mention the senior leadership should add up to a fun season. I really like the CWU game for a number of reasons (not a big fan of playing down) but looking forward to this game.

Am rather curious how the special teams will be this season. Such an important part that is hard to mirror in Spring games/practice. Anyone have feedback on that subject?

To All,
I was very much impressed with the Scrimmage, we are going to have some great Players within, can't wit for September to arrive, we can get the games going. Met some to the 2019 Athletes that could be coming to EWU, all seemed very up to the challenge. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic E. Wallace

To All,
Incase you haven't seen AD Lynn Hickey, you will be very impressed with her :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: . I think she will do wonders for Our Athletics Department and University. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Very outstanding Dinner and Dance activity :noteworthy: :noteworthy: :noteworthy: :noteworthy: :noteworthy: .
Our AD spoke last night, she spoke about being the "Big Sky Champions, etc. She spoke about "RASING THE PLEDGE, if everyone there last night could donate $50.00, we could raise about $30.000.00. Well we tried it, #77 Wyatt Musser, OL Freshman, DAD did the MC for us, and was OUTSTANDING, his other two Sons and Our Coaches got to work Raising The Pledge, well we didn't raise $30 Grand, we supposedly raised over 24 Grand Plus for us last night. Everyone wanted to give and they did. I honestly left there feeling that we are going make some progress, don't to where or what, but I just have that feeling. Wished all of you had an opportunity to be there last night, it was worth the price, and the GRUB was outstanding. Please stop licking your lips!     Go Eagles!!!!!Vic E. Wallace

We have a freshman kicker that kick it into the end zone so that is an improvement

Looked like a great turn out for the Red/White game from the photos I saw. Wanted to swing by since I was in the area Saturday doing a little early tailgating but didn't have the time. Cant wait for the season to start.
