Richmond @ Eastern Washington - FCS Quarterfinals: GDT

I'm more concerned with keeping our starters healthy and getting our 2's and 3's some playing time than I am pitching a shut out.

RH will probably sub in on the next drive but I hope they let him throw the ball a little. I hate it when they put him in just to be a handoff machine.

I feel the same way! :ugeek:

So, watching the telecast doesn't do us any favors ... visitors side is largely empty and they must not have any cameras capable of panning the home crowd because they rarely do so. Which leads an obnoxious bison fan to make the following observation on the Any Given Saturday board:

"Re: Richmond @ Eastern Washington
What's worse the game or atmosphere?"

Of course he probably just got home from sitting in a dome and can't imagine playing a playoff game on a field surrounded by snow banks but he has a legitimate question. The playoff games at Cheney are fun in person but the experience and atmosphere certainly doesn't translate to the screen. I would disregard the part about it being a bad game. The JMU/SHSU game was a bad game, this is simply a better team imposing its will on their opponent.

Meh, I'm more concerned with regular season attendance, which has been great...over 10k. December football is cold, you can't have a lot of the amenities in the playoffs that you do in the regular season, and school's out so there's very few students around. Attendance next week will be better.

Congratulations to EWU! Great game against the Spiders. You have represented the BSC well in the playoffs. I hope you make it to Frisco and beat NDSU!

I seem to recall the last time NDSU played on your field it didn't turn out well for them.

I hope you got a return game with them for playing in their dome this year. Then you guys can show them what a game day atmospheres is like when you mop them up of the field.

If you win the NC it really doesn't matter and I really hope you do. NDSU fans have become some the worst in FCS.

BECOME the worst? They've never deviated.

They come to the Inferno next year.
