I don't think this game is going to be close, we are going to crush them.

Richmond Lost their stud quarterback in the last game of the season, their new quarterback will be making his second ever start on Saturday against us.

North Dakota had the game won on Saturday, they were up 24–7, in the fourth quarter. Richmond was punting to them, and they Roughed the punter. Richmond then Scores after the penalty, blocks a punt on North Dakota's next possession, has another freak play, and UND pissed it away.

I think we win easy on Saturday… And yes, I'm that confident

To say the UND pissed the game away is an understatement. Up until the running into the kicker penalty, which was a questionable call at best, Richmond had 1, yes 1 successful play in the first 43 minutes of the game. That play resulted in their 1st half TD of 75 yards. When UND was called for the penalty, I believe Richmond had negative yards rushing and barely over 100 yards passing to that point. The player called for the roughing penalty was a freshman who more or less stumbled into the punter because no one blocked him. After that penalty, all the momemtum went Richmond's way. I predice a blow out this weekend as Richmond was no competition for the first 43 minutes. EWU has too much experience and talent to let them hang around very long. EWU 52-13 Good luck to both teams and I hope the winner wins it all.

Eastern hasn't been a team that scores blowouts. Unfortunately, most of this has been due to starting really slow and feeling our way into the game. As was the case last week, I think Eastern is more talented and will win if they play well. And again, Richmond is close enough to the margin of error to beat us if we play badly. I think Richmond's scrambling QB is a tough fit for us because it makes us gamble to take the line of scrimmage with more one-on-ones. If he's throwing the ball well, I think they are capable of scoring quite a few.

One thing that is really important to note is that Richmond has a lot of heart. If we get a lead, we need to keep scoring. This is the kind of team you can't leave hanging around.

Baldwin said Richmond was not quite like any team from the BSC, but most like PSU. Obviously, that game was a challenge for us, and Kuresa was frustrating, as he really eluded the decent pressure our line brought really well. That being said, Kuresa is a baller, and much more experienced than Richmond's QB.

And, I will be really interested in seeing how the weather effects each team. I think it's really hard to know how a team responds till they are in it. I thought a big pitfall for Cal Poly was that the weather negated their style of play, and San Diego really seemed to respond well to the weather factor. Under normal conditions, I think Poly beats San Diego handily. I think our style of play is liable to heavy impact from the weather. I've seen it too many times, including against NDSU in 2010, a team we were dominating in the first half, until the snow came. SDSU really responded to snowy conditions well at MSU a couple years ago. Seems a strong north, south power running game is the best recipe for the conditions. If I remember correctly, Newell was the only one to really produce for the Bobcats that game. Maybe a strong dose of Pierce and Wilson are in order. Seems it could be challenging to make sharp cuts like our receivers do to get open, or Custer and McPherson do to elude defenders.

I watched much of their game against UND the other night on ESPN3. They made some big plays, but was mostly unimpressed by their offense and their athletic but inexperienced QB. He is not a quick decision maker, isn't accurate, and can be forced to throw a lot of bad balls with some pressure. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Didn't want to jinx it by saying anything definitive, but happy to see my eyes didn't deceive me. Defense feasted today! Go Eags!
