Bahahaha. Other than WSU's win, this photo made my night. Thanks, sir...

Tres played the game with a sore back, thus the stretching at half.

Man, was at the game, does Coach Geving ever stop whining? I thought he would get T'd up for being on the floor jawing witht the refs and was out of the coach's box in the 2nd half all the way at the end of his bench....right where Scott B was inbounding the ball after a turnover. I have never seen him where he is not complaining.

Agreed!! Geving is a complete tool. He might have been bad, but seriously, what was up with his assistant freaking out? If anything, Geving's assistant should have been T'd up.

78 points against PSU this year by Lillard!! Yikes!!

Why didn't Richardson play more last night? I felt really bad for him. He was having a good game to. I know it might be tough for him, since Bull is almost totally back and will be getting the majority of mins, but he has got to know he is going to be depended upon greatly next year. I'm pretty sure Dame is leaving "the League." He's got to. Yes, I want him to stay, but...things are looking too good for him not to.

I'm a big Richardson fan, but he tends to be too timid in terms of taking shots. This might be one reason why Wheelwright will be getting more minutes than Richardson. Wheelwright is definitely not shy (sometimes I wish he was a bit more so). He tends to get out of control sometimes. But both have big upsides and I'm looking forward to watching them over the next 2-3 years.

Hard to say. He's been very streaky this season. Sometimes he can't miss and other nights he throws up a lot of garbage. I think last night with Dame being as hot as he was and with WSU pulling away late, perhaps Randy wanted to go with Wheels so he could get some more experience. Who really knows, though. I'm sure Randy has his reasons.

Almost as bad as Tad Boyle was. He was by far the whiniest coach I've ever seen in the Dee. :jack:

Geving really was a tool. He was non stop on the refs. They eyeballed him down several times, but refused to give him a T. He must have kept his language under control. I sit behind that bench and had to watch his backside the whole game. Most coaches will at least give a little break to the crowd and refs, not Geving, he can go a whole game. After PSU got several phoney calls in a row, I yelled at him that his constant sniping at the refs was paying off. He turned, smiled at me, and said 'That's right'. Personally, I think that, if the refs won't take charge of it, the league should. It detracts from the refs ability to, fairly, arbitrate the game.

Worst of all, if he spent that same energy coaching his guys, they might do better. That team has enough tallent to be one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the league. However, with a coach that would rather coach the refs than his team, they will never be better than middle of the pack, no matter what tallent they atract to Portland. :coffee:
