• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Rule change effect

Mentioned this in earlier post but wanted to know what others think this new rule change will effect EWU or the game in general. Maybe I'm the last to know there is a running clock after 1st downs. Chip Kelly said at half that rule change cost UCLA 4 possessions in the first half. "Safety" was the reason CFB went with the rule change. Some say they wanted to shorten the game because of 4 hrs was to long. But due to TV broadcast rights running football now, games have not shortened the commercials are longer. Kelly mentioned that in halftime interview that he hopes their tv sells a bunch more commercials. The game has drastically changed or is changing IMO

Chip Kelly, as much as I think he's a douchebag, is dead-on. It's not like the games are shorter, there's just more damn TV breaks. It's almost like these broadcast partners want to drive business to their DVR services and delayed streaming.
