• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Simply click your profile name > account upgrades > BigSky Club > choose between the year long subscription (two free months) or month to month

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

S-R stories and blogs explained

After reading some posts on the Vernon Adams thread on this forum, I want to clarify how we handle posts for Eastern Washington sports news - it can get confusing.

I report using seven (yes, SEVEN) different platforms:

1) The print edition of The Spokesman-Review;

2) The EWU Football page (all of which later appears in print):
http://www.spokesman.com/eagles/

3) The EWU basketball page (all of which appears in print):
http://www.spokesman.com/ewuhoops/

4) My own sports blog (most of it EWU-related and NONE of it seeing print):
http://www.spokesman.com/blogs/sportslink/author/jima/

5) Our SportsLink blog, which can be filtered for EWU content (also, none of it sees print):
http://www.spokesman.com/blogs/sportslink/eagles/

6) Twitter (follow me @srjimjallen)

7) Facebook (where I also occasionally post pics of my adorable grandson Gave, who turns 1 today).

The idea of the SportsLink blogs is simply to give some added coverage, some quick-hit stories and a few offbeat items that we simply don't have room for in the print edition.

And please don't hesitate to email me ([email protected]) with concerns or questions.

Thanks, everyone!

- Jim Allen (and yes, I went to Oregon - sorry :ohno: )
