Sac State Football Fan Fest & New Unis

Nice. I sure hope a lot of pics will be taken and posted so those who don't/can't attend can see the new threads.
 
Unfortunately the system won't let me upload a picture of the new unis. Can't figure out why. Anyone else get a chance to see them? They are the clean classic look. Body hugging, like the nike pro combat unis. But when I look at them, I keep thinking there should be two stripes down the side of the pants.

They are the body hugging style, and definitely classic look. I was standing when Fleming was telling the other guys that someone else had to pull it down, very snug on the body, BUT he did say he had more mobility for his throwing arm.

Overall I was very pleased with the progress that is being made. I was impressed with the team speed that is now on this team.

I saw the FB video. Yeah, they look like those NYG POS unis. You know, the ones that look like they were poured on and are cut so that you are forced to see OL armpits. What the cr@p ever happened to SLEEVES? I would hate to have to wear this trash.
 
The NYG! That's what team it reminded me of, but I couldn't place it at the time. I wonder how difficult it will be to get the O-line in those. They're going to have to allow some extra time for the big boys with guts to get dressed.

You probably have to resize the photos to a certain pixel size to upload it. I upload my photos through photobucket which makes it easier to resize and edit the photos.

I see they went with a simple look for the new uni’s. I’m ok with it, it doesn’t deliver that “wow” factor but they aren’t hideous. I like the large “Hornets” lettering across the chest in the “Stinger” font. An “S” logo on the pants would have been a nice touch. Not a fan of the green on green look but the other jersey on pant color options look fine.

How was the turnout to the scrimmage and Fan Fest event?
 
Too few people in too large of a space for me to be able to give you a guess in crowd size. It was about as many people as you would expect to come to what was technically a practice. But the folks were enthusiastic and the kids had fun.

Green on green unis are like camouflage on our field. It could be just the edge we need.
 
I like the green on green too!

The blowup helmet had the wrong color green, wonder if I am the only one who noticed?

Personally, I think they look sharp. :thumb:

I think the attitude of the team reaps rewards for the season. New uniforms, harder workouts, new additions to the stadium (got rid of the sickly hornet and now have the helmet entrance), it seemed like a lot faster team yesterday, and depth at a lot of the positions. Offense looked pretty good yesterday even without Fleming. D looked good too.
Looking for a great year for the Hornets. Lets get a lot of people out next week for the scrimmage. I'll be there and hang out all day in Sac and go to the Dinner Under the Lights. It will be fun! Get on the bandwagon! I'm smelling an upset at Corvallis!
 
Here's a picture of the new uniforms. I think they're sharp in terms of the crisp look and tight fit. It makes a huge difference if you can get a hand on a jersey as a defender. These unis will make it quite difficult! I say it's an improvement.

I like the white top and green pants (Coleman) for the road and the green top and white pants at home (Hilliard). Though, I'm sure we'll see the all-green at some point. All white just stands out too much to me!

Maybe Sac will wear thier all white against our all Black in Ogden :lol:

Waste of money... Everyone knows you can't wear white after Labor day, we'll only get to use the white ones against OSU.
