You couldn't be more wrong and if you're serious, I'd be willing to give you 5-1, for $100 that they beat your ridiculous prediction....We all know you aren't a basketball fan but try to keep your comments in the reality realm.....but if you would like to put your money where your mouth is, I'm serious....Now, about the team....for you Hornet Hoops fans (not you GCM) keep your eyes on Lachlan Brewer...he could be a real find....
 
What are they doing with football? Seems like a lot is unknown. Lots of speculation. Are we staying in the Big Sky? Are we moving to FBS? Different answers depending on who you listen to. Just heard a rumor we may play our football games at Hughes Stadium? All we know so far is we have a new young unproven head coach and a lot of transfers. If we are aiming big with football I can’t see that we would have the resources for basketball. I would like to see us with a coach that will stick around and build a program. One that will reconnect with the local community like Coach Katz did. We tried the young unproven coach route with Patrick and that was a huge fail. Should have given Laird the job and we would be in a much better place.
 
The football coach is very accomplished as an offensive coordinator and innovator of an offense that is even being implemented for plays at the NFL level. He is currently signing the highest rated recruits out if high school that Sac State has ever had.

The president has stated the direction of the football program very clearly. So I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Until a program is only solid ground, your best choices for coaches are up and comers who are trying to prove themselves. The biggest impediment to the basketball program to date has been the facilities. Once the football stadium gets going, a basketball facility is paramount.

Again, here's to hoping that the school puts in the effort in basketball that they have put into football. If that very simple statement is too much positivity for you, then that's too bad for you.
