The Hornets answer. Badger with the dive into the endzone. PAT is good. 38-7 Sac. 6:39 left in th 3rd. Let's see if the D wakes up.

SDHornet...give it a rest will you. I'm sick of hearing you whine about the defense when they've allowed 7 points in the last 5 quarters.

I'm sorry if you are content with the way the defensive schemes as they have played out. But I certainly will not be. And NO, I WILL NOT stop bitching about it.

TD UNC. 38-14 Sac 4:07 left in the 3rd.

I didn't expect you would, but you are just over the top.

I agree to disagree. Until we have a D that can competely throttle the opposing offense, I will not be content. We need an agressive d that will take it to the opposing offense.

Byt the way, the UNC WR's have DROPPED the first down. The D "forces" a punt.

Yeah and the UNC QB twice simply threw the ball into the hands of the Hornets defense in the first half while they stood there hoping it would come their way.

One of the INT's was off of a DROPPED pass. INT nontheless and I will still take it. Not to discredit the play by Schrader, BUT had the UNC wr CAUGHT the pass that hit him in the HANDS, the INT would have never occured. :geek:

And perhaps the "tipped", not dropped pass would not have been tipped if the QB hadn't been hurried or pressured. You can't isolate every play on one aspect. There are 22 players out there affecting the results of each play and you don't always see how the final result was impacted by those on the field. Especially ont his crappy broadcast.

Just for the record, I'm not satisfied with the defensive play either, but its unfair, IMHO, to whine so much when we are dominating a team that we expected would be a tough game for us. Everyone seems to always have an extreme view of things and aren't ever satisfied with a fine performance by the Hornets today. That is all I'm trying to say. You'd think the sky is falling.

I understand your stance and completely respect it. All I know is I have not seen ANY creative defensive play calling and it annoys the sh!t out of me. To paraphrase the Einstein quote "The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." Well this is the definition of the Hornet defensive play calling ALL season long.

And believe it or not, I agree with much of what you say about doing something different. It would be better even if when we get scored on if we were blitzing or dropping six back or doing something different, but I still want us to enjoy what appears will be a win today. We do need to be much better defensively to contend for a championship in the Big Sky.

No more prevent defense...there is no way we should have allowed 20 points today...Im fine in conceding their first TD because of the INT...cause it was a momentum shift at that point...but their last 2 scores have been because we just we havent put any pressure...

D-Line is tired, and has reason to be. Now the offense needs to step up drive for a score.

The D is taking a lot of heat for the second half, but the O hasn't done anything this half.
