Sac State women's golf just misses Big Sky title

The hornets fight until the last hole in the Big Sky title race and come in 2nd place by just two strokes. Congrats to the team that continues to be right in the race year after year until the very end.

With a 2nd place finish by the Hornets in golf and a second place finish in basketball the Hornets remain in contention for the Big Sky women's overall trophy. The women have already won the Big Sky indoor track title and should prevail in the Big Sky tennis title, the Big Sky outdoor track title and hopefully the softball team will come alive with offense in the Big Sky title tourney.

and the Hornet men come in 2nd place for the Big Sky golf title. This sports year for Sac State is so far coming down to so many of our teams coming just short of the title and being in 2nd place. Next year looks bright.
