• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

I may be one of the few fans that really pays attention to the SAG ratings. Unlike the Coach's polls I find them unbiased and accurate. The computer pays a lot of attention of strength of schedule (to include current rankings) and how good the conerence is that you play in. The Big Sky and Colonial leagues, seem to lead the way. Here are the current ratings with the SPNetwork Ratings in ()'s.

1. Delaware 6-0 Colonial (2)
2. James Madison 4-1 Colonial (6)
3. Montana State 5-1 Big Sky (10)
4. Stephen F. Austin 4-1 Southland (4)
5. Western Illinois 4-2 Miss. Valley (23)
6. Appalachian State 5-0 Southern (1)
7. Massachusetts 4-1 Colonial (8)
8. William and Mary 5-1 Colonial (5)
9. Eastern Washington 4-2 Big Sky (12)
10. Northern Arizona 3-2 Big Sky (27)
11. Wofford 4-1 Southern (17)
12. Jacksonville State 6-0 Ohio Valley (3)
13. Liberty 4-2 Big South (21)
14. Cal Poly 4-2 Great West (13)
15. Villanova 3-2 Colonial (7)
16. Portland State 2-3 Big Sky (NR) Yes, the computer has them rated higher than Montana.
17. Montana 4-2 Big Sky (11)
18. Sac. State 3-3 Big Sky (NR)
19. Chatanooga 3-2 Southern (NR)
20. N. Dakota St. 4-2 Miss. Valley (14)
21. Furman 3-2 Southern (NR)
22. Georgia Southern 3-2 Southern (18)
23. Sam Houston St. 3-2 Southland (NR)
24. Robert Morris 5-1 Northeast (NR)
25. Northern Iowa 2-3 Miss. Valley (24)

It doesn't suprise me that the BSC is so well regarded in the SAG. So far IMO the BSC is as strong as I can remember.

and if you look at conference ratings, the big sky is currently number one....boo ya. go over onto some of the FCS discussion boards, and they'll bring the hate, CAA and SoCon are the best conferences hands down etc.
