I'll go ahead and pick Portland State to upset Montana this weekend... could be totally wrong, but I sort of feel like Portland State is coming together after a rough start early in the year.

Im more worried about sac state than psu....

I'm worried about both of them, to be honest. They're both good teams that could be on the cusp of being in the upper echelon of the conference that could be a spoiler to someone's play-off hopes - let's just hope that it's not ours. We play Sac at home, but they beat us there in 2008 if I am not mistaken and I don't think they have beaten us in Sacramento ever, so home field doesn't seem to be a factor in this series.

We play PSU in Portland, and I remember the last game in PGE and how frustrating was. No way should we have lost that game but somehow we found a way to.

If we can split with Sac/PSU and take care of business against UNC/ISU/SUU then I still think we're in a great position to make the play-offs.

In some ways computer polls make this sort of a game interesting. Everything I know about these two programs makes Montana an overwhelming favorite in this game. That is what is referred to as "bias" in computer polls. This is the first week this poll claims to have statisitaclly removed the "bias". In theory as the season goes on, more data is added to the calculation, and the poll will become more accurate.

According to Saragin, PSU would be a 3.5 point favorite at home (Saragin score difference, + 3 for home field).

Of course if you take into account how well Montana fans travel, the 3 points should go to Montana making them a 2 1/2 point favorite.

Leveraging my own personal bias, I'll take Montana by 17.

I really want to be wrong, though.
