Face it Bears fans, we've see this show before. This team doesn't know how to win. They haven't been shown by the coaching staff. I thought bringing in Peterson would help the offense, but we're just as bad as last year. Deti is questionable with his play calling as well. Here's a few things I want to get of my chest before we move on to ISU.

- The thing that upsets me the most is that we had :48 seconds left in regulation to make a few plays to at least kick a field goal to win. Orms can lead this offense. Especially with two time out lefts. This puzzles me. I don't know if that was Downings call or Petersons, but it was cowardly.

- Why is Andre Harris not getting the ball in crunch time? He was running with a mission yesterday and we denied him glory.

- The soft 2 deep coverage killed us. We have good coverage guys, they needed to move up on the receivers.

- Dropped balls by the receivers including Jace Davis. He should have had at least 3 that I counted that went through his hands.

Over all I put this on the coaches. LET'S FACE IT. WE ARE NOT BETTER THAN LAST YEAR. WE HAVEN'T IMPROVED AT ALL.

I could not agree more with Beardown, the coaching is worse than ever. Downing has had 5 years ENOUGH ALREADY.

I have mixed feelings. The offense looked really good (even with injured linemen) and that is either good recruiting or good coaching. It seems to be the gameday decision making on the sidelines that really lets the team down game in and game out. The coaching does enough to put the team in a position to win during the week then on gameday they screw it up.

You're an idiot. I can't wait to see you eat your words at the end of the year. Offense is averaging nearly 450 yards per game and defense has a +8 turnover difference after two games.

Who cares about how many yards we average? I only care about Wins and Losses. I still can't get over how bad we played. THEY WERE GIVING US THE GAME!

That call to puss out at the end of the regular game pissed me off so much that I woke up at 4am the next morning fuming over it and couldn't get back to sleep. However, I think this team may win a respectable amount of games in spite of downing this year. They converted some good third downs and showed heart during the game a few times when the recent bad news bears would have just done like their coach, and pussed out. Orms really seems like he's gonna be good--he can scramble and make things happen, we have some good receivers and our D put some hits on Weber that I don't think they are gonna forget. I really think we had the more physical team and that will have to pay dividends this season.

Downing doesn't care about winning. He proved it just like you said when he pussed out and didn't go for the win.

They all care about winning. I imagine Downing puts in ridiculous hours at the office and doesn't get to see his family during football season all because he wants to win. He just, doesn't know how to win. He doesn't have the killer instinct when it comes to managing the game.
