Unless we get a lot better along the LOS, I'm expecting very little improvement in our overall record. Our OL is in need of a serious dose of big nasty types, and I don't know that Long has had time to bring them in and raise'em up right just yet!

As for Dshawfan......Anybody who remembers Dennis Shaw is the man. One of the best QB's in Aztec History.

BTW - Steve is one of the nicest and greatest but you really don't want him moving to Portland. The prices of 24 and 40 oz beers would skyrocket due to decreased supply.

lol, yeah we lit some teams up for 90+ back then

Great to have you all here, is Lynell Hamilton still your RB?(at least I think that was his name)

Lynell is a senior back and more than likely the starter coming in.

We are hoping for a big senior year from Lynell after a couple of tough years after his major leg injury.

I remember him being a great recruit in HS, hopefully he can pull it together. cotrrect me if I'm wrong O'Connel is the QB?

Lynell is still playing but has never returned to the level he played in his Freshman year. He broke his leg in garbage time against UNLV and never was the same. Still, he is serviceable. We have a decent platoon of Running Backs with Atiyyah Henderson, Tyler Campbell and Brandon Bornes augmenting the backfield. They are considering Lynell as a Fullback but any way you look at it we'll have a pretty versatile 2 back set at times.

Still lots of questions going into camp. Beyond the RBs we are looking to see where one of our very athletic QBs (Darren Mougey) ends up - possibly a flanker or reciever. Our OL will see lots of candidates to help a weak spot. We are curious of any of the freshman recruits will be ready and to play.

Lots of things to fix and Coach Long took a long term approach to recruiting (line, etc) rather than quick fixes (playmakers. recievers...)
