San Diego State Thread

Still too early to tell, although Long's classes appear to be academically qualified. Craft always recruited some gems that never made it here because of their grades/test scores. I do like the emphasis they have put on recruiting some beef up front; hopefully they also have nasty attitudes.
 
If I had $10 for everytime I have heard this over the last 30 years, I would be a mulit-multi millionaire.

I've always liked SDSU (had a friend who played center there in the mid eighties). I'd like to see a "fire in the eyes" coach there. A Pat Hill type (minus the academic infractions of course) would be better suited imo than Long. Though Long deserves another year or two until judgement can be drawn.

I've seen many ugly games at San Diego Stadium in the last 20 years, but this Utah game was one of the top 5.

Today's Aztec story from the SD UT. I believe Elliott is a very capable coordinator; just not too sure how much talent he has to work with right now. Keep an eye on the Perez kid; he was quite a player in HS.

I talked to a buddy who LOVES Bana football and attended the thing. It was standing-room only and they had to close the gates to not let anyone new in during the 2nd quarter. He said that there were about 110,000 people there.
 
Don't tell me Auburn draws like this also; that would truly cause me to question the priorities of those calling Alabama home

Yes.....I am a little old school. I refuse to call the Stadium by any other name than what is was (and still should be) originally......
