So was anyone at the scrimmage on Saturday ? All I know is what the Tribune wrote about. The Defense dominated and offense needed a lot of work. Sounds like we still do not have a running game and OL is struggling. Its still early so maybe the offense will pick it up or hopefully our Defense is really good !

303Bear has a much better, in-depth review (in another thread) than I will give. I pretty much agree with what he says. Thank goodness it's just a scrimmage. Offense looked horrible. Rubs couldn't get in sync with any receivers, and just like he said, it's mostly the offensive line's fault. They're horrible and the kicking game hasn't improved at all. I have no confidence if any of the games come down to the wire and we need a winning or tie field goal.

Defense looked great and I think Kerr's system works pretty well. It's less restrictive and allows the players to fly around, make plays on the ball. One position battle on defense that is worth watching and that's the outside LB position with Sierra and Boobie Sanders. Sierra is starting, but Boobie is on his tail.
