I listened to the podcast of the coaches show on KUFO where Glanville said that he "blew"a knee. I am totally bummed. If one player could make a difference it would be Andy.

These injuries are hard to swallow. I'm already thinking about next year. At least Andy will be back for what I hope is a reloaded '08 team.

The Schantz situation could be a lot worse. I'm assuming this was a partial tear, thus the elimination of need for surgery.

With the bye after NAU, Schantz could possibly only miss two games. Something tells me that Andy will be in the starting lineup on October 20th.

I hope that is the case. SDSU was his 4th game and I do believe that the cutoff point for an additional year is 3 games. The number oif plays also has to do with the deciosion and if Andy cannot return this year, he might be in a situation where he played barely too much to have another season returned to him.

I hope he can come back, I can tell you all about knee injuries, they are life changing. The injuries are crippling this year.

Are they in full pads? Even with Schantz less than 100%, he's a boost to the defense with his attitude.

I agree, though I am apprehensive about the MCL tear on PGE's terrible turf.

Sounds like Stone will play this weekend. Says he's 85% Not sure if that would affect him for punt team duties since he'd need to get down and cover. We'll see him for FG and PAT.

According to Beseda, Schantz and Mackins should be close to 100%. Stone should keep Jerry from making any stupid decisions.
