SDSU v EWU Prediction Thread Final EWU 41-17

I will give the bunnies credit for a GOOD running game, AVERAGE offense and GOOD defense, but that adds up to winning a few more then you lose (5-3 conference record).

EWU sports a GREAT passing offense with GREAT receivers and mobile QB, GOOD running game and GOOD defense. When our offense is executing it is nearly unstoppable hence games where we don't punt (MSU) or punt only once to the 25th ranked FBS team (OSU).

The bunnies are in trouble Saturday, even if they don't know it.

google weather just updated to Saturday being a high of 7 with wind of 12 mph. Is that enough to put a wrench in a passing game?

I also think every team has underestimated our run game for the last half of the season, it will be a factor (potentially huge) factor.

My weather app is saying that the wind should be nothing more than a light breeze by 10am. :thumb:

If the SDSU QB is not as proficient at passing as VA it would seem like conditions that negatively effect the passing game would be worse for them than us.

Look for the double move from EWU WR's today off play action and WIDE open WR's taking it to the house. Certainly Ashton and Cooper have these moves in their repertoire. Guess O Line will have to give VA .5 secs more. Whoop whoop! Thank god game day is here, regardless of the conditions.

Do you think Shaq Hill is more likely to be the home run reciever than Ashton? Seems to me that Ashton is likely to catch more touchdowns, but Shaq is more likely to be the one breaking free to score in those types of situations. I feel like Cooper is likely to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants while completeing the NY Times crossword in his other hand, so no arguments where he is concerned.

I've really liked how Shaq Hill has peaked this season. He is one player I am predicting to have a terrific game today.

Jacks 35, Eagles 27 Cold fingered receivers, and a rushed QB leads to interceptions and incompletions, while a cold weather downhill running team with a great O-line controls clock and LOS both ways. Like the Jacks chances in Cheney.
