Season tickets

What's next? People will be banned. Games will be played at a secret location. Ticket-holders will be allowed to watch the game on a video board on the *Home Team's Field*.

The thinking behind the rule I assume is to make it a level playing field for the two teams especially in domes which can trap and amplify sound. Fans can yell and scream to their heart's content but artificial noisemakers the conference decided was unfair.

I think other conferences have also banned artificial noisemakers so I don't think it's just the Big Sky.

Part of the problem I have heard is that noise makers are annoying to old people. Not necessarily me but I am aware of a few old couples who don't attend games any longer because of them. If, indeed they do affect attendance at games the conference may have considered that. I don't know if there is any truth to that. Just saying.

Okay... noise makers are out. Everybody will get over it.

Back to Season tickets.

I maybe wrong but season ticket sales may go up once the Bengals have a winning season. It seems like the businesses and sports fans in Pocatello want a winning team before they start investing their money into the Bengal football program. The good news is that the Bengal football program will probably make some good money for the ISU Athletic Department when they play BYU and the University of Washington this upcoming season.
