Dickson has come alive!!! 67-62 Hornet lead 3 minutes left. Hornets heading to the line for a 1 and 1.

Intentional foul on Seattle. The Hornets will seal this if they make their FT's. FT's are good. 73-65 with 1:01 left.

Beautiful passing by the Hornets to keep it away from seattle fouls. TB heading to the line for 2 FT's. 49 seconds left. HAHAH "Over-rated"chant for Garcia. Excellent.

FINAL. 80-67 Hornet victory. Great team effort, They were able to overcome some small deficiets and play better in the second half. Good solid win for the Hornets.

Caught the second half of the game when the Hornets started pulling away, when they are on, they are on! I thought there was much more organization and great team play happening in order to win the game. Nice fan turn out as well. Go Hornets!

I was at the game. Coach had a good game plan on stopping Garcia. As soon as he touched the ball he was double and triple teamed and sometimes four guys were on him. Garcia struggled early, but he does have some moves, speed and can really handle the ball altho we gave him fits at times. He's slightly built tho. Sacramento Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie was there with Coach T (Tom Abatemarco), who is a Kings scout now, I assume to watch Garcia. Coach T did take a lot of notes. I spoke with Alex Bausley, who was there to play in the Alumni game, and he told me that Garcia loves to play guard. Garcia was on the perimeter a lot throughout the game, but got to the basket with the ball in an instant.

The Hornets looked very good tho; a real team effort. Flaggs saved us with his scoring and Domineek Daniel with his all around play and then Toles-Bey for going 8 for 8 at the line towards the end. Eller, Duro and Dickson all had good moments too. It looked like Marcial and Selling were the only two that were struggling some.

If we can play like this we could be competitive with all the Big Sky teams.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Garcia is 6'10" tall. That's why he was so unique. He's really a 6'10" guy that loves to play guard and he can dribble/handle the ball like a point guard plus he's very athletic and quick. His shooting wasn't that good, but it was probably because we had him surrounded most of the time. I can see why tho that the NBA would be watching him. He'd look a lot better playing with some great players.

One thing about Garcia, he was getting away with traveling almost every single time...he's good, but not great. It was a good win and the guys proved to themselves they can play with a lot of teams...
