Selection Show

so can anyone knock off NDSU this year? it seems like every year people say they are beatable and they just get stronger and stronger as the playoffs go on.

I like our half of the bracket (no Fargo dome). No mater where in the bracket youre seeded it just gets tougher every week. I will say an undefeated Sam Houston got kinda scewed.

They'll see a team that already beat them at home in SDSU in the quarters. I think they'll also have their hands full with JMU and SHSU.

Sure, they can be beat, even at home...but it will be tough sledding in the playoffs. Their home-field advantage is one of the strongest I've seen.

Aside from NDSU and SHSU, our side of the draw has the more physical teams IMO. Jax St, Charleston So., Citadel, Richmond and Ill St (maybe) and EWU :-)

I think they are more beatable this year than last. They definately have an advantage if they make it to Frisco, they have played there the last five years and won.

I think the draw worked out for us about as well as could be expected. Illinois State is a better team that Central Arkansas based on what I've seen, but have to go on the road to win. It might be a toss-up with that under consideration.

Whoever wins that game might be the best team to come out of the first round, so the first game for us will be a difficult one. If we can win that one, I think our path would be th best we could hope for. North Dakota v Richmond coming to Cheney is a game we should win. Then Jax State, who is very good and a tough fit for us, but I don't think they are as good as either Sam Houston State or James Madison, both teams I wanted to avoid.

Nice to see you guys back in the dance, Slow!

Thanks Kalm. Congrats to the Eagles on their Big Sky Championship and #2 seeding. Now kick @ss and show the rest of the FCS how good you and the Big Sky are.
