Taking on Montana starting, well, now. Trying to watch this right now but the link to watch is not coming up (on Big Sky TV). Good luck ladies!

Scratch that, it's working now. :)

We're up 34-29 at the half. It's hard to tell what is going on sometimes on this feed, but it sure looks like some ugly basketball out there. And holy crap Montana has a lot of fans there!

Partially because Sarah Ena's brother plays for EWU's football team.

Viks win! 62-47, and we lead the entire game.

I've just got say, I am appreciative of being able to watch these games for free and all, but the audio is so irritating. The fact that it picks up every obnoxious person in the crowd and you can't even hear the commentators grates on my nerves!!!

Great win!!!! Balanced scoring, smart, patient shots, tremendous ball movement, excellent defense, good use of our bench players...
NOW THAT"S WHAT I"M TALKIN' ABOUT
I love the way we're waiting for the open shot to come to us and not forcing too much.
On to the championship game!

Down to business balanced team play. Very good game. Despite playing 3 games in three nights we should have enough left to put up a good fight tomorrow. Murrell has been smart, spreading out the minutes. I both last night and today Wade, Depaepe, and Yankus had nearly even minutes - I look to see the same tomorrow. I'm sure the team would like to take the conference and go to the NCAAs, and they might. But however it goes, it's been an amazing season minus Kahle and I'm proud of them.

It's going to be a grind 'em out dogfight between MSU and PSU on Saturday. Both teams will be playing their third game in three days so it'll be a war of attrition. MSU is playing really well right now with Perry playing out of her mind; Strand, Jackson, and Bussey playing well too. Not too sure about their depth but they had to work hard in a very physical game to get the win against Eastern. The ref's weren't calling much.
I agree that Murrell has managed the minutes pretty well. Hope we can contain Perry a little and play defense like we did against Montana today.
I like our chances and for some reason I don't think Claire is ready to call it a career just yet!

Yeah, I wondered about those non-calls. We only had 6 fouls called on us, and Montana only 7. Have the refs deliberately eased up on the calling? It'll be another physical game if so.

Just to let you know..Montana had tons of fans over for the game. PSU had parents and a few friends of the team. Montana fans, as you may be aware, are rather rude and a little obnoxious. The longer the game wore one, the quieter the Montana fans became.
