One reason why AD decided to let JG go now is probably because they want to take advantage of the attention JG has brought to the program. Even though he failed to fill the stands, he sure got people talking about PSU. Let's hope Portland will remain interested in a post-Glanville rebuilding team.
Salary: I hope the next head coach will make less money than JG. The difference could be used to pay the assistants a living wage...![]()
I agree with that last statement. You can pay a HC a bit less and get better assistants.
