sideline heaters

What are your thoughts on having heaters on the sidelines? IMO they are a huge distraction. If you are at the game, watch the players huddled around a heater and not focusing on the game. :ohno:

Of course, heaters should be used. I am not sure what you are seeing that makes you think the players are distracted. Maybe the players lower on the depth chart? Playing while really cold or that combination of wet and cold, and trying to stay warm between series without some heat can really affect performance.

Yes, they should use heaters.

Anyone who was at the 2016 semifinal game might disagree with you clawman.
FYI, I WAS at that game and all other playoff games a most all home and away games.
Today player distraction was not as bad as it has been at times in the past. I still feel the same if I was coaching, no heaters, too much distraction. I also understand you softie kids of today can't handle it.

I agree. Also what's the deal with those stupid cages on the front of the helmets? Are kids today really so coddled they can't handle a smashed face every week? And Gatorade on the sidelines? How can they be focused on the game if they are too busy drinking "entitlement juice?"

Yes, if they eliminate the face guard there would be no targeting calls.
