• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Anybody know if Hogan is a mission kid? Also got our first JC player at a position of need -- DB.

Lots of linebackers!

Anybody know the story on Cody Anderson, he's listed as a junior. Was he a JUCO, returned missionary, D-1 transfer???

Thanks, Sniper. So far, Mike is staying true to the needs he outlined at the end of the year: lots of DBs (including two Jucos) and linebackers. Still looking for that one "home run hitter" at WR/RB.

I've seen the Andersen kid play several times in HS. Very big, with good speed and strength is off the charts. Will be a perfect fit at DE in a 3-4.

Looks like they are done for the day. Andersen situation is cleared up: he is a junior in eligibility from Shelley.

Of course there likely will be additions and subtractions between now and fall camp.

KPVI has video from Mike's press conference. He implied there will be a few more signings to come. He said the two JC corners are the only players who will be expected to play next year -- all the freshmen should redshirt, barring unforseen developments.

Jerry will have taped segments of Mike's comments on the coach's show tonight. Mike will join us live next week.

ISU announced the signing of Larry Tharpe, a 6-3, 270 DL from Carrolton Texas. He will be a freshman.

I didn't see 5' 8" 190 lb. running back Treyous Jarrells sign with the Bengals, and I certainly had hoped that he would have signed. Because it would be nice to have a more powerful back for this offense we're running. Which means that he or another back, could possibly sign within the next few days if a scholly was saved for someone at this position, or else we could be looking at getting a Division 1-A drop down within the next few months. Or else if we can't find what we're looking for then we'll just make do with Finney and Prier (and possibly McSurdy) for next season, and wait until next year to try to get the kind of back we really need.
