I dont see how Poly could pull it off attendance wise, not just the reporting, but the $$$ the patrons actually bring in through gate receipts. The program would be on welfare from day one. Losing breeds apathy, after a decade of 3-8 seasons the program is dropped for soccer. The new national sport of the University of Mexico-SLO campus.
Slim chance Sac and davis could pull it off given the apathetic populace, but are in a large metro area, so that is understandable. But look at UOP and SJSU for the future.....history repeats itself. And Sac/davis dont have the interest and Poly does not have the people.
Once clear heads prevail, they will cobble this together:
Sac State, UCFE, POLY, SJSU, Hawaii, NAU, PSU
Time to take another hit.......
The Green Cookie Monster crumbles when presented with facts.
Cal Poly announced last year a stadium expansion which will take it above 15k, the magic number for FBS.

The slim chances is remiscent of the UC Davis board when they said Sac St is broke, no wa that they could go FBS.
You guys deserve each other!
2035?! Kalifornia will be a ward of Mexico by then.
4,000 seats, that is what Idaho has and look at their position.
This was written by student newspaper, so check source.
So what, Sac State Master Plan calls for a 40,000 seat stadium in the next 10-15 years.
Will that happen? Hahahaha
Maybe in 50yrs. when we are dirt they may be what is considered FBS.
What facts? This is all speculation, nothing more.
UNC is about to drastically cut athletics, this may result in elimination of sports, conference and division level. That ought to keep you busy for awhile.
