How I see the depth chart going into fall camp (starters in bold)-

QB: Higgins, Hoke, Hancock, Adamczyk
RB: Tafuna, Booker, Tuckett, Hinds, Key, Moimoi
FB: Eldridge, Cosper, Tofflemire
WR: Phillips, Collins, Kaimikaua, Morris, Raught, Miller, Sanford, Clemente, Kehano, Walker

QB: Can Higgins return to his 2008 form (mainly in regards to limiting turnovers)? Hoke is a solid backup and can run the ball. Hancock is athletic and might play some WR.

RB: Perhaps the team's biggest question mark going into camp. Tafuna is a converted fullback and comes into camp leading a tight race for the #1 spot. Booker looked good in the spring game (103 yards rushing). Three talented true freshman in Hinds, Key, and Moimoi will provide depth and promise for the future.

FB: With Tafuna moving to tailback, Eldridge moves into the starting fullback position. Much is expected of him (he was voted preseason all conference). Cosper is a solid senior backup with experience and should see significant playing time.

WR: Should be one of the strengths of the team. Good depth, with 6 of the receivers having college experience. Phillips should be one of the best in the conference and averaged over 18 yards a catch in '09. Collins was second on the team in receptions in '09. Kaimikaua and Raught are solid, and much is expected of redshirt freshman Morris (I know Mac really likes Morris as a player). Not much is known about Sanford but he is fast and as a JC transfer he brings experience. Kehano was one of the best in the Islands, fashions himself after Tim Toone, and could see playing time as a true freshman.

This is totally unofficial conjecture at this point, but word is that Bo Bolen will play. He does not go to the MTC until December and the NCAA will not grant him his leave until then. He is apparently in Ogden now.

Where is Bolen headed on his mish? What if Weber goes to the NC game or deep into the playoffs? How is this going to effect the RB depth chart?

Have you heard about NAK?? What the Hell is wrong with the NCAA? Camps are starting, you'd think they would have all of their ducks in a row.

Morris and Raught are both going to be excellent recievers. I wouldn't doubt seeing Hancock out in the flats ever so often catching passes. With the QB talent Weber has, you'd think they'd have some more trick plays in the play book. Heavens, can Hancock be a punter too?

As for the running game...I'm not worried at all. Eldridge and Cosper are going to be expected to do some excellent blocking, but both are experienced and proficient FB. As for the running game. All the starting prospective backs can run, catch, and block (booker??).

Wow! What a boost it would be having Bolen and/or Naks back this year.

The Bolen thing is strictly conjecture at this point. Has anyone else heard this? I've had my hopes dashed before. I have heard Hancock is an awesome receiver, jump ball and across the middle, no fear. I think he will see some quality PT.
