Skyline Sports preseason All-Big Sky picks

The Big Sky Conference will announce the preseason All-Big Sky football team this week at the Big Sky Kickoff in Spokane. Here is how Brooks & Colter Nuanez of Skyline Sports voted:

I definitely think Eastern will be well represented by the end of the year if not in the preseason. Offensively, Antoine Custer, Simba Webster, Tristen Taylor and Spencer Blackburn all deserve some consideration. Defensively, Mitch Fettig, Nsuzi Webster and Ketner Kupp will all be in discussion as well. Pretty meager numbers for a preseason favorite.

I voted for Weber. If you look at the recent history of the preseason poll, the team with the top returning quarterback has been picked to win the league for almost a decade straight. It's come true about half the time. Eastern could win the league behind Gubrud, no doubt. But I still think Weber is the favorite.

Weber avoids Idaho and Montana then gets EWU, Montana St. and Sac St. at home.
